Recognize Addiction: New Campaign Launched

Drug Addiction Awareness Program Launched.

Do you know if your neighbor or co-worker is high?

Do you suspect that your son or daughter may be using?

They wouldn’t would they? Could they?

On Saturday, The Atlanta Recovery Center Drug Rehab in Georgia launched a public awareness campaign that is aimed at helping people understand and recognize addiction, and give them education on how to deal with suspected drug abuse in the family.

“Too many people are taken by surprise by the sudden revelation that a loved one is using drugs,” comments Mary Rieser, Executive Director for The Atlanta Recovery Center Drug Rehab. “They never think that the person they love could ever even think of using drugs. Only after the problem gets too big do the small clues start to make sense. By then it is too late. The person is a drug addict.
