Glad to see there are facilities that really help people with addiction problems. Recently a family member was seeking help in California and found Narconon Vista Bay to be extremely helpful. Their treatment has continued.

Hard to know what to do when you find your family member has a drug abuse problem. Our friends recently took their teenager to Narconon Vista Bay and found wonderful results. The teenager is home now and doing well. Highly recommend this facility.

Drug Intervention is vital is works and it saves so much lost time in the future for families as the addict can get into treatment quickly rather than waiting 5 years after their denial to realise they have a problem

My son was born with a liver disease, biliary atresia, and he did not know anything different. He eventually had a transplant (www.harvey.fatfeet.org) at 2 years and I have never seen him so happy.

Methadone clinics offer both Maintenance and a taper right from the beginning. The results of tapers are not very sucessful due to the nature of opiate addiction being a chronic relapsing disease. Success is not always measured by those who are able to taper and remain abstinent. It is also measured by those who choose to remain on methadone and continue to be productive members of society and responsible family members.

The idea that half of the people are still on methadone maintenance does not take into account all those who tapered and subsequently relapsed back to opiates or opioids.

Thanks for being and thanks for trying to help so many people caught in this disease of addiction.
